3 Questions to Rema.germany

Interview with Dennis Hölker and Heinz Hölker, executive board rema.germany

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE PART IN SOLUTRANS 2019?

SOLUTRANS is one of the most important fairs for us. Our success in the French market has also been driven by the attendance of SOLUTRANS. Finding new customers as well as to meet our current customer base is just one of the many benefits this fair offers. Not only our customer network but also our supplier network benefits from reconnecting face to face during SOLUTRANS. Moreover, SOLUTRANS is showing a steady visitor growth for every Event.

WHICH OPPORTUNITIES DOES SOLUTRANS REPRESENT FOR YOUR COMPANY?

We are happy to attend SOLUTRANS this year. As a German company it is sometimes a bit challenging to get into the French market. As a family owned company, building trust and long term business relationships is of major importance to us. SOLUTRANS gives us the opportunity to connect to our customer base more closely and to get in touch with our end customers to talk about their needs and their struggles. This personal contact helps us to develop optimized reman solutions that benefit our customers.

Moreover, SOLUTRANS gives us the chance to underline the importance and the values of remanufactured parts within the circulate economy. Various studies proof that the remanufacturing process saves resources and costs. Buying an optimized remanufactured part means you buy an exchange part, which is at least as good as a new part. We want to improve the image of remanufactured parts, especially in quality perception, but also want to stress the importance for the circulate economy. We need to change our thinking, habits and our behaviors in all aspects of our live if we want to reduce the climate change impacts.

WHICH WILL BE THE MAJOR NEWS YOU WILL BE PRESENTING DURING SOLUTRANS?

This year during SOLUTRANS we have some very exciting news. We have opened a service office near Strasbourg to even better serve our customer base in France and to be more close to our customers. Currently we employ four French employees that are only responsible for the French market. Product wise we are happy to announce the launch of the EURO 5-6 business. We are a strategic partner of Eminox and are able to supply reman DPF filters for Volvo/Renault and MAN applications with the other brands just pending type approval. Those filters are all type approved and therefore the warranty of the truck is not being affected by this exchange filter. Due to the type approval our DPF offer is in line with the current EU rules for the emission standard.
