Heavy goods vehicles and urban vehicles: basic training and employment undergoing change from production to operation

The truck and urban vehicle sector is undergoing major change, from manufacturing to vehicle commissioning. In parallel, jobs in production and transport companies are duly obliged to evolve as a result.

Mechanics, drivers and operations managers must all capture value from the latest data from new vehicles manufactured using the latest technology. New job specialities are arriving in the industry, such as IT expert or 3D specialist. Today’s approach to heavy duty vehicles needs a new generation of labour.

In addition to its Training Forum, SOLUTRANS 2019 will hold a debate bringing together training bodies present in our country, also reporting on new and emerging professional requirements to provide a clearer picture. The image of the profession will also be promoted.
