As Europe’s most advanced nation in the field of electric mobility, Sweden has once again this year been asked by SOLUTRANS to share its experience with the exhibitors and visitors in attendance from 19 to 23 November 2019.

Over the five days of the show, French and Swedish public officials will be able to use SOLUTRANS as the setting for their discussions around the future of mobility. It should be recalled that in November 2017, French President Emmanuel Macron travelled to Gothenburg to sign a common roadmap with Sweden relating to innovation on clean and autonomous transport.

Tomas Eneroth, the Swedish Ministry of infrastructure also took part in the inauguration of SOLUTRANS to highlight the closer ties formed between the two countries on the issue of responsible transportation. He will be returning this year to report back on the work conducted jointly by France and Sweden.

To support this partnership, Sweden, represented by its embassy and Business Sweden, will be holding three talks on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 November, in the Norbert Detoux Lecture Theatre and the Espace 4.0:

  • 10:00-11:30, Espace 4.0: “From producer to consumer, the last kilometre”, with representatives from the entire supply chain, producers, transport companies, transport solution providers, multimodal solutions.
  • 14:00 -15:30, Norbert Detoux Lecture Theatre: “Fossil fuel free and low-emission transport solutions to meet climate targets”

  • 10:00-11:30, Espace 4.0: “Solutions and Innovations by Sweden”
