To achieve this aim, joint and concerted actions are being implemented at European, national and local levels to build a French low-carbon hydrogen sector with an international scope, with the aim of cutting CO2 emissions by 6 million tonnes by 2030.
According to the study Fuel Cells Hydrogen Trucks: Heavy-Duty's High Performance Green Solution, carried out by the consultants at Roland Berger, 10,000 fuel cell trucks or 100,000 light commercial vehicles in service would save 11 million tonnes of CO2 emissions. Lectures, debates, hydrogen vehicle displays and road tests can all be witnessed and discovered at SOLUTRANS, the only international meeting place for innovation and information in the truck sector (16 to 20 November 2021 - Lyon EUREXPO).
